DURAN® GL 45 connection screw cap with 2 GL 14 ports is a flexible modular connection cap system made from polypropylene (PP) in blue/grey. It fits laboratory bottles with GL 45 thread and accepts four rigid or semi-rigid tubing outer diameters of 1,6 mm, 3,0 mm, 3,2 mm and 6,0 mm. Interchangeable GL 14 inserts form a tight seal around the through-tubing, while unused ports can be closed with a red GL 14 screw cap. Sterile pressure equalisation is possible using a 0,2 µm syringe filter. By applying over- or underpressure, liquid can be pumped out of or filled into the bottle through the screw closure. Blue open-top GL 14 caps with matching inserts hold tubing of different diameters securely. Compatible with all GL 45 threads, this system from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences supports sterile liquid transfer into and out of laboratory bottles, gas transfer, liquid transfer between bottles, reagent supply to instruments and bioreactor feeding.
