Description
DURAN® GL 45 replacement HPLC screw cap is a complete polypropylene (PP) closure accessory for HPLC bottle systems. Supplied with four black M8 screw caps and twelve silicone seals—comprising four 1,6 mm tube seals, four 3,2 mm tube seals and four blanking seals—it restores or equips a four-port GL 45 HPLC setup. Three stations can be fed simultaneously from one vessel while the fourth port supports optional sterile pressure equalisation with a 0,2 µm membrane filter. Unused ports are closed with blanking seals. The cap works with DURAN® pressure plus bottles rated from −1 to +1,5 bar overpressure and accepts tubing outer diameters of 1,6 mm and 3,2 mm. From manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, this spare part supports pressure- and vacuum-resistant HPLC applications, safe transfer of liquid media in closed sterile systems, and solvent supply to HPLC instruments. It provides a practical route to maintain multi-port HPLC bottle configurations without replacing the entire assembly.

Questions about DURAN® GL 45 HPLC Bottle (accessories & replacement parts)
What is this article?
DURAN® GL 45 HPLC Bottle (accessories & replacement parts) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes DWK Life Sciences for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.
A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.
A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
