DURAN® Original laboratory bottle, clear, GL 25, 10 ml is a graduated multifunctional laboratory bottle formed from high-purity clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3. The glass provides excellent thermal performance and high chemical resistance; together with a robust ISO 4796-1 design it delivers long service life. An easily readable graduated volume scale and a permanent white enamel marking field support accurate working and clear labelling. A permanently printed batch identification (Retrace Code) guarantees full manufacturing traceability. This version is supplied complete with the familiar blue polypropylene screw cap and drip-free pouring ring rated for use up to 140 °C. The standardised GL thread and matched closure system enable a particularly tight seal and clean, controlled pouring. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C. The 10 ml size includes a specially shaped glass rim that aids pouring. Suitable for long-term storage, the bottle from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences is used for autoclaving media and reagents, media preparation, sampling, culture vessel work, storage of media and reagents, and as a liquid container. Permanent white print withstands repeated sterilisation and handling, while clear glass permits continuous visual monitoring of contents during laboratory procedures.
