DURAN® volumetric flask, Class A, with CoC and batch certificate and blue print is a high-precision laboratory flask intended for exact volume determination. The clear 250 ml vessel is produced from borosilicate glass 3.3 and fitted with a ground joint NS 14/23. Conforming to ISO 1042, it offers class A accuracy—the tightest volumetric tolerance—approximately twice as precise as class B. A durable, fired-on blue graduation with ring mark provides excellent visibility, and the flask is adjusted for content (“In”) at the reference temperature of +20 °C. An ergonomic polyethylene stopper is included for quick and reliable sealing. Flasks of accuracy class A that carry a batch number are accompanied by a batch certificate documenting the mean measured value of the batch, its standard deviation and the certificate issue date; the certificates can also be downloaded online. The four-digit batch number encodes the production year and the specific batch. Common uses encompass preparation and storage of normal solutions, liquid volume measurement, dilution of solutions, multi-component mixing and classical volumetric analysis. Manufactured by Duran/DWK Life Sciences, these glassware items should not be exposed to temperatures above +250 °C in drying ovens or sterilizers so that volumetric integrity is maintained over time.
