Description
DURAN® Original laboratory bottle, clear, GL 25, 10 ml is a graduated multifunctional laboratory bottle formed from high-purity clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3. This glass is recognised for excellent thermal behaviour and high resistance to chemical influences; combined with a robust ISO 4796-1 design it supports long service life in demanding laboratory use. The bottle carries an easily readable graduated volume scale and a marking field in permanent white enamel. A permanently printed batch identification (Retrace Code) on each bottle ensures complete manufacturing traceability. Supplied without screw cap and pouring ring, the 10 ml size features a specially shaped glass rim that improves pouring performance. The standardised GL thread accepts matched closure systems for a tight seal and clean dispensing when accessories are fitted. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C, making the bottle suitable for sterilisation cycles and long-term storage. From manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, this clear bottle serves autoclaving of media and reagents, media and reagent preparation, sampling, culture vessel applications, storage of media and reagents, and general liquid containment. Permanent white print remains durable through repeated handling and thermal cycles, while the clear glass allows direct visual inspection of contents.
