Description

DURAN® Original laboratory bottle, clear, with DIN 168-1 thread, graduated is a multifunctional laboratory bottle moulded from high-purity clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3. Offering excellent thermal behaviour and high resistance to chemical influences, the 150 ml nominal-volume vessel follows the robust ISO 4796-1 design for long service life. It carries an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a permanent white enamel marking field, while the permanently printed Retrace Code ensures full manufacturing traceability. Supplied without screw cap and pouring ring, the bottle presents a standardised GL 45 thread ready for matched closure systems that enable particularly tight sealing and clean pouring. Produced by manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences, the clear borosilicate glass 3.3 construction is fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C. Outer diameter measures 62 mm and height 110 mm. The durable white print withstands routine laboratory handling, making the bottle suitable for long-term storage. Typical applications cover autoclaving of media and reagents, preparation of media and reagents, sampling, culture-vessel use, storage of media and reagents, and service as a liquid container where separate closures can be selected as required.
