Description
edge® tablet meter for dissolved oxygen (230 V) is a compact digital DO instrument designed for laboratory and in-situ measurements. It works with the digital Clark-type polarographic probe HI764080, which is automatically recognised on connection via a 3,5 mm jack and loads its calibration data. The slim 12,7 mm (½'') probe body suits confined vessels such as wine bottles and uses replaceable PTFE membrane caps (two supplied). Dissolved oxygen is measured from 0,00 to 45,00 ppm and 0,0 to 300,0 % saturation, with resolution of 0,01 ppm and 0,1 % saturation and accuracy of ±1,5 % of reading ±1 digit at 25 °C. One- or two-point calibration at 0 % (HI7040 solution) and 100 % (in air), automatic temperature compensation (0 to 50 °C) and salinity compensation (0 to 40 g/L) support reliable results. Temperature range is −20,0 to 120,0 °C. The kit from manufacturer Hanna Instruments includes the edge® tablet, HI764080 probe, HI7041S electrolyte, USB cable, bench docking station with electrode holder, wall mount, 5 V power supply, two membrane caps and O-rings, quality certificates and manual. Configuration, diagnostics, logging and data transfer are built in. Unit dimensions are 202 mm × 140 mm × 12,7 mm at 250 g.

Questions about edge dedicated Dissolved Oxygen, 230V
What is this article?
edge dedicated Dissolved Oxygen, 230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A dissolved-oxygen meter reads oxygen in a liquid, optically or with a Clark cell. A multiparameter meter adds pH, conductivity or both on one instrument. The sensor cap or the membrane is the consumable. A reading in air and a reading in water are different calibrations.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
