Description

edge® tablet multiparameter meter with pH electrode HI11310 (230 V) measures pH and can be expanded to conductivity (EC) and dissolved oxygen (DO) with optional digital probes. Unique digital sensors are automatically recognised for sensor type, calibration data and serial number via a 3,5 mm jack. The supplied HI11310 is a refillable glass-body digital pH electrode with integrated temperature sensor, 3,5 mm connector and 1 m cable. pH range is −2,000 to 16,000 (standard mode) or −2,00 to 16,00, with resolution down to 0,001 pH and accuracy ±0,002 pH in standard mode; mV range is ±1000 mV. Calibration supports up to five points with seven standard buffers plus two custom buffers in standard mode, or up to three points in simplified mode. Automatic temperature compensation covers −5 to 100 °C. Temperature measurement spans −20,0 to 120,0 °C at 0,1 °C resolution. The HI2020-02 kit from manufacturer Hanna Instruments includes the edge® tablet, HI11310 electrode, pH 4,01 / 7,01 / 10,01 buffer sachets (two each), cleaning solution, bench docking station with holder, wall mount, USB cable, 5 V power supply, manual and quality certificate. Logging stores up to 1000 records in standard mode. Dimensions 202 mm × 140 mm × 12 mm; weight 250 g.

Questions about edge® Multiparameter pH Meter, 230V

What is this article?

edge® Multiparameter pH Meter, 230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A dissolved-oxygen meter reads oxygen in a liquid, optically or with a Clark cell. A multiparameter meter adds pH, conductivity or both on one instrument. The sensor cap or the membrane is the consumable. A reading in air and a reading in water are different calibrations.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
