Description
Scraper for foodstuffs SteriPlast®, blue polystyrene (PS), sterile, 80 mm is a sturdy disposable tool for scraping, smoothing, cleaning and removing residues in hygienically sensitive workflows. Fabricated from blue polystyrene under cleanroom class 7 (10.000) conditions, each scraper is individually packed and gamma-ray sterilised for reliable single-use application. The compact 80 mm format remains handy yet stable for routine surface work on process equipment and sampling points. The blue colour is not naturally present in foodstuffs, so any misplaced piece or fragment can be recognised quickly during visual inspection, supporting HACCP hazard analysis and foreign-body controls under IFS and BRC frameworks. Designed for food processing and production as well as feed and pharmaceutical industries, the scraper follows relevant EU food-contact and FDA guidelines. Supplied from manufacturer Bürkle in a multipack of sterile units, this blue PS scraper combines cleanroom manufacture with clear visual detectability for everyday residue removal and surface preparation tasks.

Questions about Food scrapers, blue, PS, sterile, 80 mm
What is this article?
Food scrapers, blue, PS, sterile, 80 mm is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
