Description
HALO™ Bluetooth® pH microelectrode is a refillable glass pH sensor with a 3 mm tip designed for laboratory measurements in small sample volumes at universities, in pharmaceutical laboratories and in biotechnological research. Covering the range pH 0 to 13, the electrode combines an open ceramic junction, a spherical sensing tip and a silver-free Viscolene hard-gel electrolyte together with a double Ag/AgCl reference. Measurement data are transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth® 4.0 over up to 10 m to the free Hanna Lab App or to a paired edge® blu pH meter. One-press connect pairing, a blue Halo status LED and on-board calibration storage simplify daily work, while a button press tags samples for easy retrieval later. Power is provided by a replaceable CR2032 lithium battery offering approximately 500 hours of operation. Overall length is 183 mm, with a 120 mm glass body of 3 mm outer diameter. The electrode from manufacturer Hanna Instruments is supplied with storage solution, cleaning solution, pH 7.01 and pH 4.01 buffers, battery, quality certificate and instruction manual as a single-piece pack.

Questions about HALO - micro pH electrode, no temperature, with Bluetooth® Smart Technology
What is this article?
HALO - micro pH electrode, no temperature, with Bluetooth® Smart Technology is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
Which category should I open next?
