Description

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-29 is a ROTI®Star calibration standard supplied at 10 mg/l for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The formulation contains Au, Ir, Os, Pd, Pt, Rh and Ru in 5 % HCl, targeting precious-metal and platinum-group element determination in a hydrochloric-acid matrix suited to these analytes. Density is about 1 g/cm³, the boiling point is 100 °C, and the product carries UN number 3264. Offered in a 100 ml pack, the solution is intended for instrument calibration, multi-element method development and ongoing quality control in analytical laboratories performing ICP-MS. This CR-29 standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH complements broader AAS and ICP standard portfolios and supports consistent response for the listed noble and platinum-group metals. The defined 10 mg/l level and HCl matrix facilitate controlled dilutions and matrix-matched blanks, helping laboratories maintain reliable multi-element ICP-MS performance for gold, iridium, osmium, palladium, platinum, rhodium and ruthenium assays.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-29, ROTI®Star 13 elements,10 mg/l

What is this article?

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-29, ROTI®Star 13 elements,10 mg/l is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
