Description

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-41 ROTI®Star is a ready-to-use multi-element calibration standard containing 18 defined elements in 2 % nitric acid for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Element levels are aluminium 20 mg/l, arsenic 1 mg/l, boron 100 mg/l, barium 100 mg/l, beryllium 1 mg/l, cadmium 0,3 mg/l, cobalt 1 mg/l, chromium 5 mg/l, copper 200 mg/l, iron 20 mg/l, manganese 5 mg/l, molybdenum 5 mg/l, nickel 2 mg/l, lead 1 mg/l, antimony 0,5 mg/l, selenium 1 mg/l, uranium 1 mg/l and zinc 20 mg/l. The preparation is offered in a 100 ml pack, with a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point of 100 °C. This analytical standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH supports multi-element quantification, instrument calibration and routine quality control in environmental, industrial and research laboratories that rely on ICP-MS. The aqueous nitric acid matrix helps keep the listed elements in a stable, workable form for method development and day-to-day analytical workflows requiring a clearly specified multi-element reference solution.

Questions about ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-41 ROTI®Star 18 elements in 2 % HNO3

What is this article?

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-41 ROTI®Star 18 elements in 2 % HNO3 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
