Description

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-66 ROTI®Star is a multi-element calibration standard with 9 elements in 10 % HNO3 for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The composition includes calcium (50), cobalt (50), copper (50), iron (50), magnesium (50), manganese (50), nickel (50), sulphur (500) and zinc (50). The solution has a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point above 83 °C. It is offered in a 100 ml pack for convenient use in calibration curves, drift checks and multi-element quality control. Produced as a ROTI®Star standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH, it serves analytical laboratories performing simultaneous ICP-MS determinations of selected transition metals, alkaline earths and sulphur in acidified matrices. The nitric acid carrier is compatible with typical sample preparation routes used in environmental, metallurgical and research laboratories. By providing a fixed multi-element mix at stated relative levels, the standard helps establish consistent instrument response and supports reliable quantification across the listed analytes in a single analytical sequence.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-66 ROTI®Star, 9 elements in 10 % HNO3, 100 ml

What is this article?

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-66 ROTI®Star, 9 elements in 10 % HNO3, 100 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
