Description

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-67 is a ROTI®Star calibration solution containing seven elements at 1000 mg/l in 5 % HNO3 for trace elemental analysis. The certified element set comprises aluminium, cobalt, copper, iron, lithium, manganese and nickel, prepared for ICP-MS and related water-analysis and trace-analysis workflows. Density is approximately 1 g/cm³ and the boiling point is above 83 °C; the solution is associated with UN number 2031. Supplied in a 100 ml pack with a stated weight of 0,120 kg, the standard supports preparation of calibration series and quality-control checks in elemental spectrometry. Matrix composition in dilute nitric acid matches common acidified sample presentations used in ICP-MS laboratories. This multi-element standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH is positioned for applications in water analysis and trace determination by ICP-MS, ICP-OES, AAS and related techniques where a defined seven-element mix is required. CR-67 ROTI®Star labelling identifies the formulation within the multi-element standard range. The ready-to-use liquid format simplifies dilution steps when building working standards from the 1000 mg/l stock level.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-67, ROTI®Star, 100 ml

What is this article?

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-67, ROTI®Star, 100 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
