Description

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-77 ROTI®Star is a six-element standard in 5 % HNO3 for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The CR-77 ROTI®Star formulation contains calcium (100), iron (1000), potassium (5000), magnesium (100), sodium (5000) and phosphorus (1000) in nitric acid. Density is approximately 1 g/cm³; the boiling point is above 83 °C. A 100 ml pack is supplied, with a filled weight of 0,120 kg. This multi-element solution is used for ICP-MS work on Ca, Fe, K, Mg, Na and P in a 5 % nitric acid matrix. UN number 2031 applies to the preparation. The CR-77 standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH belongs to the ROTI®Star ICP-MS multi-element range and presents the six named elements together in one nitric acid solution. Calcium and magnesium are present at 100, iron and phosphorus at 1000, and potassium and sodium at 5000, as given for CR-77. The 100 ml pack is the stated unit quantity for this CR-77 solution.

Questions about ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-77 ROTI®Star, 6 elements in 5 % HNO3, 100 ml

What is this article?

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-77 ROTI®Star, 6 elements in 5 % HNO3, 100 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
