Description

Incubation mantle, stainless steel, for temperature control of 500 ml Schott laboratory bottles is a double-jacket tempering accessory for controlled reaction tempering in laboratory and production settings. Inner diameter is approximately 87 mm and mantle height approximately 92 mm, accommodating standard 500 ml Schott laboratory bottles for easy insertion and exchange of vessels. The mantle is supplied without additional insulation and without a bottom, so it can be upgraded with magnetic stirrers beneath the bottle while keeping the working area accessible. Olive connections of 12 mm allow attachment to external thermostats that circulate tempering liquids through the jacket. This incubation mantle from Landgraf HLL keeps the bottle lid outside the tempered zone; if a higher mantle is preferred so the bottle sinks fully and a lid can still be used, a custom height can be requested. Stainless steel construction provides robust service with circulating media. The open double-jacket layout supports flexible integration into existing thermostat circuits for stable thermal control of reaction media on the bench or in small-scale production.

Questions about Incubation jacket, stainless steel, temperature control of Schott laboratory

What is this article?

Incubation jacket, stainless steel, temperature control of Schott laboratory is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Landgraf HLL for laboratory use. It sits in Bottle accessories (pouring rings, dispensers, caps), inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

Bottle accessories are the pieces on the neck: a pouring ring, a dispenser seat, a cap liner, a tamper ring. They decide how the bottle delivers and whether the closure still matches after the original cap is gone.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
