Description

Incubator IN110 is a natural-convection laboratory incubator with a 108 l stainless-steel chamber and a setting temperature range from +20 °C to +80 °C. Working temperature starts at least 5 °C above ambient and extends to +80 °C. The unit features SingleDISPLAY control, two grid shelves, an outer stainless-steel door and an inner glass door, plus an electronically adjustable exhaust air flap from 0 % to 100 % in 10 % steps. An Ethernet interface enables protocol data readout, while double overtemperature protection and an integrated data logger with at least ten years of storage capacity support secure long-term operation. Three calibration values can be set at the ControlCOCKPIT, and a factory calibration certificate for +37 °C is included. From manufacturer Memmert, the structured stainless-steel housing measures 745 × 864 × 584 mm and the interior 560 × 480 × 400 mm. Supply is 230 V, 50/60 Hz with maximum power consumption of approximately 1400 W; net weight is 76 kg.

Questions about Incubator IN110, 108l, 20-80°C

What is this article?

Incubator IN110, 108l, 20-80°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Incubators, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

An incubator holds the mild, even temperature a culture needs, often 25 °C or 37 °C, sometimes with carbon dioxide. It is not a drying oven. Uniformity and, for cells, the gas control are the specification. A flask of cells in a drying oven is a dead flask.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
