Description

Incubator IN30 is a compact natural-convection laboratory incubator with a nominal volume of 32 l. Working temperatures run from at least 5 °C above ambient up to +80 °C, with a set temperature range of +20 °C to +80 °C. SingleDISPLAY ControlCOCKPIT control, one grid shelf, an outer stainless-steel door and an inner glass door make the unit suitable for routine incubation tasks in limited bench space. An electronically adjustable exhaust air flap operates from 0 % to 100 % in 10 % increments. Supplied by manufacturer Memmert, the incubator includes an Ethernet interface for reading protocol data. Double overtemperature protection and an integrated data logger with at least 10 years of storage capacity support documented operation. Three calibration values can be set on the ControlCOCKPIT, and a factory calibration certificate for +37 °C is provided. The structured stainless-steel housing measures 585 × 704 × 434 mm, while the stainless-steel interior measures 400 × 320 × 250 mm. Power connection is 230 V, 50/60 Hz, with maximum power consumption of approximately 1600 W.

Questions about Incubator IN30, 32l, 20-80°C

What is this article?

Incubator IN30, 32l, 20-80°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Memmert for laboratory use. It sits in Incubators, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

An incubator holds the mild, even temperature a culture needs, often 25 °C or 37 °C, sometimes with carbon dioxide. It is not a drying oven. Uniformity and, for cells, the gas control are the specification. A flask of cells in a drying oven is a dead flask.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
