A flexible glass-silk heating body with a waterproof heating element sits inside a plastic-coated, chemically resistant metal outer housing. Integrated mains and heating-zone switches together with a built-in controller enable individual power adjustment during laboratory heating tasks. Rated power is 150 W in a single heating zone, with a maximum heating-conductor temperature of 450 °C. Operation is at 230 V AC via a 1,5 m mains lead fitted with a Schuko plug and personal protection switch.
