Description

LabHEAT® support ring KM-TR, 50 ml is a stainless-steel accessory for fixing standard heating mantles of the KM-G, KM-GS and KM-GH series with 50 ml volume in laboratory stand assemblies. Produced from stainless steel grade 1.4301, the ring combines mechanical stability with the corrosion resistance expected in everyday wet-chemistry environments. It enables secure mounting of mid-small heating mantles on conventional retort stands, stabilising vessel geometry during heating, digestion or extraction and freeing valuable bench space compared with free-standing placement. The component is supplied as a single piece and is matched specifically to 50 ml mantles of the named series, so no improvised clamps or adapters are required for correct seating. Offered by manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik as part of the LabHEAT® range, the KM-TR support ring integrates smoothly into existing heating-mantle workflows. Net weight is 0,2 kg. Laboratories that routinely reconfigure stand setups will appreciate the straightforward installation and removal when exchanging mantle sizes or rearranging the workspace for different experimental protocols.

Questions about LabHEAT® Support ring KM-TR, 50 ml

What is this article?

LabHEAT® Support ring KM-TR, 50 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik for laboratory use. It sits in Stands, rods & bases, inside Stands, clamps & racks, in Labware.

A retort stand is a base and a rod. The base mass keeps a clamped flask from tipping. Rod diameter decides which bossheads fit. A light base under a heavy condenser is how glassware falls.

A stand, a clamp and a rack hold something still so the hands can do the work. A bosshead locks a clamp to a rod. A test-tube rack keeps tubes upright and in an order the operator can read back. The failure is almost always mechanical: the clamp slips, or the rack does not match the tube diameter. The glass they support is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
