Description
Macro cuvette type 100-QX is a precision spectroscopy cell made from extended range quartz glass for wavelengths from 200 nm to 3500 nm. It features a 10 mm path length, a fill volume of 3,5 ml and a PTFE fold lid, and fits common spectrophotometers used in analytical laboratories. Outstanding path-length accuracy and parallelism support continuously reproducible results. These Hellma precision cuvettes are manufactured entirely in Germany and are thermally bonded rather than glued, giving high resistance to temperature and chemicals while helping prevent unwanted liquid leakage. Selected extended range quartz glasses deliver excellent transmission greater than 83 percent for exact measurements. Bevelled edges allow safe, comfortable handling and reduce the risk of chipping. The cells can be cleaned and reused, providing a durable and environmentally conscious option for routine spectroscopy. Production follows EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 and meets high optical standards for laboratory spectrophotometry.

Questions about macro cell, 100
What is this article?
macro cell, 100 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hellma (IDL) for laboratory use. It sits in Cuvettes, in Labware.
A cuvette is an optical cell. The spectrophotometer or photometer sends a beam through a defined path length, usually 10 mm, and the absorbance is read from that path. Glass is for the visible range. Quartz or a UV-grade plastic is required below about 320 nm, because ordinary glass absorbs there. The path length and the wavelength window are the two numbers that choose the cell. The optical methods that use it sit with NIST and the BIPM. Laboratory ware is indexed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
