Macro cuvette pair type 100-QS is a matched set of precision spectroscopy cells made from high-performance quartz glass for the wavelength range 200 nm to 2500 nm. Each cell provides a 50 mm path length, a PTFE hinged lid and a filling volume of 0,0175 l, and both units are spectrally measured, paired for equal transmission and marked with an engraved transmission code. High path-length accuracy and parallelism support reproducible results on common spectrophotometers. These Hellma precision cuvettes are thermally bonded rather than adhesive-joined, giving strong resistance to temperature and chemicals and helping prevent unintended leakage. Selected high-performance quartz glass delivers excellent transmission greater than 82 % for accurate photometric measurements. Matched transmission pairs create comparable conditions in dual-beam photometers. Beveled edges improve safe, comfortable handling and reduce the risk of chipping. Produced entirely in Germany to high optical standards, the cells can be cleaned and reused for long-term laboratory service as a durable alternative to single-use cuvettes.
