Manual Shore test stand SAUTER TI-DL is a lever-operated hardness test stand for reproducible Shore hardness testing of plastics, leather and comparable materials. It features a glass base plate that supports high measurement accuracy through the greater hardness of the glass surface, together with a robust mechanical design for precise measuring movements. A levelling facility enables accurate alignment of the base plate, for example with inhomogeneous test objects. Compared with the standard configuration, this model includes an interchangeable, longer guide column intended for the digital hardness tester HD. The hardness measuring instrument is not part of the delivery. In use, the SAUTER HDD hardness tester is fitted in a hanging position, the specimen is placed on the round test table under the indenter, and depressing the lever releases the test weight so the tip is pressed into the sample under the defined test force. Accuracy is about 25 % higher than with hand measurement. Net weight is 9 kg and gross weight 11 kg.
