Description

Measuring spoon 10 ml in blue polystyrene (PS) is a disposable dosing tool for exact measurement of small quantities of powders, granules and liquids. Because the blue shade does not appear naturally in foodstuffs, any piece that enters a production stream is readily found during visual inspection, helping meet HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body requirements in food processing, feed and pharmaceutical industry settings. For accurate dosing, surplus medium is levelled against the upper edge of the spoon; the content volume is embossed on the handle. The flat leading edge is ideal for collecting material from container bottoms and corners, supporting residual emptying, while the flat base allows the spoon to be laid down without spilling. Developed for single use, the plastic measuring spoon eliminates cleaning and reduces cross-contamination risk, and it can double as a sampling spoon for small sample amounts. Cleanroom-manufactured (class 7) and individually packed by manufacturer Bürkle, the spoons correspond to EU food-contact and FDA guidelines and suit chemistry, pharma, cosmetics, feed and food & beverage applications. Pack of 100 pieces.

Questions about Measuring spoons 10 ml, PS, blue

What is this article?

Measuring spoons 10 ml, PS, blue is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.

A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.

The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
