Description
Measuring spoon 5,0 ml in blue polystyrene (PS), sterile, is a disposable dosing tool for precise measurement of small quantities of powders, granules and liquids. The blue colour does not occur naturally in foodstuffs, enabling rapid visual detection if a fragment enters production and supporting HACCP, IFS and BRC foreign-body controls in food, feed and pharmaceutical environments. Excess medium is scraped off at the upper rim for accurate dosing, with the fill volume embossed on the handle. The flat front edge reaches container floors and corners for good residual emptying, and the flat base allows the filled spoon to be set down without spillage. Intended for single use, the spoon avoids cleaning steps and cross-contamination and can also serve as a sampling spoon for small aliquots. Cleanroom-manufactured (class 7), individually packed and sterilised by manufacturer Bürkle, the spoons comply with EU food-contact and FDA guidelines and are suited to chemistry, pharma, cosmetics, feed and food & beverage dosing. Pack of 100 pieces.

Questions about Measuring spoons 5.0 ml, PS, blue, sterile
What is this article?
Measuring spoons 5.0 ml, PS, blue, sterile is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
