Description

BRANDplates® pureGrade™ 1536-well microtiter plate is a standard polystyrene (PS) assay plate for high-density laboratory workflows. It combines a white finish with a flat F-bottom geometry and a 10 µl well format, supporting compact sample layouts in screening, biochemical assays and optical readout applications. The untreated pureGrade™ surface offers a general-purpose polystyrene interface without specialised coatings, suitable for routine non-coated assay work. Manufactured as a BIO-CERT® CERTIFIED QUALITY product from Brand, the plate is supplied non-sterile in the standard configuration and packed as 50 pieces per unit. White walls and base help control background in luminescence and related detection methods, while the 1536-position layout maximises throughput within a conventional microplate footprint. Polystyrene construction provides the mechanical stability expected for automated liquid handling and plate readers. These plates fit research, analytical and quality-control environments that require dense well formats without sterility demands.

What is this article?

Microplate, pureGrade, 1536-well, PS, Standard white, 'F'bottom 10 µl 50 pcs is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Brand for laboratory use. It sits in Microplates, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.

A microplate is an array of wells, commonly 96 or 384, in clear, black or white plastic. Clear is for absorbance. Black is for fluorescence. The well shape, flat or round bottom, and whether the plate is sterile and treated for cells, are the specification. Not every 96-well plate fits every reader.

A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
