The BRANDplates® pureGrade™ 384-well microtiter plate is a polystyrene (PS) multiwell plate with a black body, transparent flat bottom (F-bottom) and a nominal well volume of 120 µl. Black walls minimise cross-talk and background in fluorescence and luminescence assays, while the transparent base enables bottom-read detection on compatible microplate readers. pureGrade™ indicates an untreated polystyrene surface for general laboratory use where cell-culture coating is not required. Plates are marked BIO-CERT® CERTIFIED QUALITY and are supplied non-sterile as a pack of 50 from manufacturer Brand. The 384-well format supports higher sample density and lower reagent volumes than conventional 96-well plates, suiting screening, kinetic and endpoint optical methods.
