BRANDplates® pureGrade™ 96-well microtiter plate is a standard polystyrene (PS) microplate in black with round U-bottom wells and a nominal well volume of 330 µl. The opaque black body is intended for microplate assay work in which reduced background light is advantageous, while the 96 sample positions follow the familiar standard plate layout used across research and routine laboratory workflows. pureGrade™ denotes a general-purpose plate grade for non-demanding applications, and the plates are supplied under BIO-CERT® CERTIFIED QUALITY from manufacturer Brand. Constructed from polystyrene, the plate offers the handling characteristics expected of modern MTP consumables for sample incubation, dilution series, screening steps and optical readouts compatible with black-walled formats. The U-bottom geometry gathers liquid toward the well centre, which supports mixing and recovery of smaller residual volumes.
