Description

minicaps® end-to-end 4 µl capillaries are precision micro disposable pipettes designed for accurate end-to-end liquid handling in laboratory and clinical settings. Made from DURAN® glass, each capillary delivers a nominal volume of 4 µl at a length of 30–32 mm, enabling controlled transfer of small sample volumes. The pipettes are NA-heparinized to help limit clotting in blood-related work and include a declaration of conformity according to DIN 12600. Conformity with ISO 7550 and CE marking under IVD 98/79 EG support use in regulated diagnostic environments. KB colour coding allows fast visual recognition of the 4 µl format during busy bench routines. Offered in packs of 5000 pieces from manufacturer Hirschmann, these single-use capillaries suit haematology, diagnostics and general microvolume pipetting. The end-to-end geometry supports straightforward fill and discharge without complex equipment, while glass construction maintains dimensional consistency for everyday laboratory practice. A practical choice wherever disposable micro-sampling and defined volume control are required.

Questions about MINICAPS END-TO-END 4 µL, LENGTH 30-32 MM, CC, NA-HEP

What is this article?

MINICAPS END-TO-END 4 µL, LENGTH 30-32 MM, CC, NA-HEP is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
