Description
minicaps® end-to-end 40 µl micro disposable pipettes are precision capillary pipettes manufactured from DURAN® glass for controlled end-to-end volume transfer in laboratory and clinical microvolume work. Each capillary has a nominal volume of 40 µl and a length of 30 mm, enabling complete fill between the open ends for defined sampling and dispensing. The capillaries are NA-heparinized to support blood handling where anticoagulation of the sample is required, and they are supplied with a declaration of conformity according to DIN 12600. Design and marking follow ISO 7550, with CE conformity in line with IVD Directive 98/79/EC for in vitro diagnostic use. Offered in a pack of 1000 pieces from manufacturer Hirschmann, these single-use minicaps® capillaries suit routine haematology, capillary blood collection and other analytical procedures that demand reproducible micro-pipetting. End-to-end geometry promotes consistent uptake of the stated volume and straightforward handling in standard laboratory workflows without reuse.

Questions about MINICAPS END-TO-END 40 µL, LENGTH 30 MM, CC, NA-HEP
What is this article?
MINICAPS END-TO-END 40 µL, LENGTH 30 MM, CC, NA-HEP is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.
A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.
A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
