Description
The MPP 930 IDS is a digital three-channel multiparameter probe designed for IDS sensors and depth measurement down to 100 m. An integrated pressure sensor supports reliable profiling in demanding aquatic and process environments. The probe is supplied complete with protective basket, weight, protective caps for the sensor inputs and probe output, operating instructions, a CD-ROM with software, and a 1,5 m connection cable AS/IDS-1.5. It is intended for use with Multi 3430 or Multi 3630 IDS instruments. Compact yet robust construction makes the assembly suitable for field and laboratory multiparameter work where simultaneous acquisition from multiple IDS sensors is required. This configuration from manufacturer WTW – a Xylem brand provides a ready-to-deploy depth-capable probe package for water-quality and environmental monitoring applications that demand digital IDS connectivity and integrated pressure compensation.

What is this article?
MPP 930 IDS, Digital triple channel multi parameter sonde for IDS sensors. Desig is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Dissolved oxygen & multiparameter meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A dissolved-oxygen meter reads oxygen in a liquid, optically or with a Clark cell. A multiparameter meter adds pH, conductivity or both on one instrument. The sensor cap or the membrane is the consumable. A reading in air and a reading in water are different calibrations.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
