Description

Muffle furnace L15/13/C550 Tmax 1300 °C with flap door is a compact laboratory furnace for thermal processes that require a maximum working temperature of 1300 °C. Heating elements on support tubes radiate freely into the chamber, giving particularly short heating times and supporting a long service life. Multi-layer insulation with robust lightweight refractory bricks in the furnace chamber enables this higher temperature range and positions the unit as a practical alternative to familiar L(T)./12 models when greater heat is needed. Heat is applied from two sides. The dual-shell ventilated housing of textured stainless steel sheets reduces outer surface temperature while providing high mechanical stability. An adjustable air inlet is built into the furnace door and an exhaust air outlet is located in the rear wall. The flap door can be used as a work platform during loading. Control is handled by the B510 touch controller with five programs of four segments each; solid-state relays ensure low-noise operation. NTLog Basic supports process-data recording via USB flash drive. This configuration from manufacturer Nabertherm is intended for defined laboratory application within the operating instructions and is offered as a single complete unit.

Questions about Muffle Furnace L15/13/C550 Tmax1300 with flap door

What is this article?

Muffle Furnace L15/13/C550 Tmax1300 with flap door is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Nabertherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
