Description
Muffle furnace L5/13/B510 is a high-temperature laboratory furnace designed for a maximum working temperature of 1300 °C. Heating elements mounted on support tubes radiate freely into the chamber, delivering short heating times and a long service life, with heating from two sides. Robust multi-layer insulation based on lightweight refractory bricks supports the elevated temperature range and positions this unit as a practical alternative when higher application temperatures than standard L(T)./12 models are required. The dual-shell ventilated housing is made of textured stainless steel sheets, keeping outer surfaces cooler while maintaining mechanical stability. This configuration includes a flap door that can serve as a work platform, together with a temperature selector limiter and thermocouple provision. An adjustable air inlet is integrated in the door and an exhaust air outlet is located in the rear wall. Touch controller B510 offers five programs with four segments each; solid-state relays enable low-noise operation. NTLog Basic supports process-data recording via USB flash drive. Supplied as 1 pc from manufacturer Nabertherm for defined laboratory use within the operating instructions.
This article is part of Muffle & tube furnaces, in Heating, drying & cooling.

What is this article?
Muffle Furnace L5/13/B510 Tmax1300 with flap door and over-temperature limiter a is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Nabertherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
