Description
Muffle furnace L5/13/C550 Tmax1300 with flap door, protective gas connection and temperature is a laboratory muffle furnace rated for a maximum working temperature of 1300 °C. Heating elements mounted on support tubes radiate freely into the chamber, enabling particularly short heating times and extended element life. Robust multi-layer insulation with lightweight refractory bricks allows this higher working temperature and positions the furnace as an alternative to standard L(T)./12 models when greater heat is needed. Dual-shell ventilated construction from textured stainless steel sheets reduces external surface temperature while maintaining high stability. The flap door can be used as a work platform; the door also carries an adjustable air inlet, with an exhaust air outlet in the rear wall and a protective gas connection. Heating is provided from two sides. The B510 touch controller manages five programs of four segments each, and solid-state relays support low-noise operation. NTLog Basic records process data via USB flash drive. The unit is offered as 1 pc from manufacturer Nabertherm for defined laboratory applications within the operating instructions.
This article is part of Muffle & tube furnaces, in Heating, drying & cooling.

Questions about Muffle Furnace L5/13/C550 Tmax1300 with flap door and protective gas connection
What is this article?
Muffle Furnace L5/13/C550 Tmax1300 with flap door and protective gas connection is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Nabertherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
