Description

Muffle furnace L9/13/B510 is a laboratory muffle furnace designed for a maximum working temperature of 1300 °C. Heating elements mounted on support tubes radiate freely into the furnace chamber, enabling short heating times and extended element life. Thanks to multi-layer insulation with robust lightweight refractory bricks, the furnace reaches this higher temperature range and serves as a useful alternative to the well-known L(T)./12 models when greater application temperatures are needed. Heating is arranged from two sides. The dual-shell ventilated housing uses textured stainless steel sheets to limit outer surface temperature and maintain high stability. This variant features a flap door that can act as a work platform together with a thermocouple feed-through. An adjustable air inlet is fitted in the furnace door, and an exhaust air outlet is located in the rear wall. The B510 controller with touch operation provides 5 programs with 4 segments each; solid-state relays support low-noise running, and NTLog Basic allows process data recording with a USB flash drive. These units from manufacturer Nabertherm are intended for defined laboratory applications within the operating instructions. Pack size is 1 pc.

What is this article?

Muffle Furnace L9/13/B510 Tmax1300 with flap door and thermocouple port in the r is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Nabertherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
