Description
Multi-place heating mantle PILZ® Classic-Line RE4ER provides four independent heating positions for parallel work with round-bottom flasks. It is configured for 100 ml flasks with a diameter of 64 mm, operates at 230 VAC with 4 × 110 W (440 W total rated power) and allows a maximum operating temperature of 450 °C. A powder-coated, chemically resistant metal housing protects the unit; cover and front plate are stainless steel. Hand-crocheted glass-silk heating bodies ensure uniform heat distribution at each place. Standard equipment comprises one main ON/OFF switch, an integrated mechanical power controller per heating place for stepless output selection from 0–100 %, and one STK 2 stand clamp per place mounted on the rear (stand rod not included). The unit features a detachable plug connection (0,50 m cable) and is supplied with a residual-current personal-protection plug and Schuko type E/F mains cable (1,00 m). Manufactured by Winkler, this compact RE4ER mantle supports synthesis, extraction and teaching applications where several small flasks must be heated side by side. Net weight is 9,4 kg, width 620 mm and height 220 mm.

Questions about Multi-place heating mantle PILZ® -Classic-Line- RE4ER with 4 places 100m
What is this article?
Multi-place heating mantle PILZ® -Classic-Line- RE4ER with 4 places 100m is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Heating mantles, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A heating mantle cups a round-bottom flask so the heat meets the glass without a bare flame. The flask volume the mantle was knitted for is the specification. A 1 L mantle under a 250 mL flask heats the air, not the liquid.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
