Multi-place heating mantle PILZ® Classic-Line RE4ER is a four-position laboratory heating unit for 250 ml round-bottom flasks with a diameter of 85 mm. Each heating place delivers 220 W, giving a total rated power of 880 W at 230 VAC, with a maximum permissible operating temperature of 450 °C. The powder-coated metal housing is robust and chemically resistant, while the cover and front plate are stainless steel. Hand-crocheted glass-silk heating elements provide uniform heat transfer to the flasks. The device is fitted with a main ON/OFF switch and an integrated mechanical power controller at every position for stepless power selection from 0 to 100 %. Each place has a rear STK 2 stand clamp (without stand rod) and a detachable plug connection with 0,50 m cable. A residual-current protective plug with FI function and a Schuko type E/F mains cable of 1,00 m are included. Net weight is 9,4 kg; overall width is 620 mm and height 220 mm.
