Description

Nalgene™ Super Versi-Dry™ absorbent laboratory paper is a durable surface-protection medium for capturing spills and safeguarding benches in chemical, clinical and life-science laboratories. An absorbent top layer is bonded to polyethylene support fabric on the reverse, forming a waterproof, non-slip and chemically resistant underlay that helps keep work areas dry and stable. Absorption capacity is 1050 ml/m², supporting effective uptake of aqueous solutions and many common laboratory liquids during pipetting, weighing and sample preparation. Each unit is a wide roll measuring 40 in. by 200 ft, so staff can cut custom lengths for benches, fume-hood bases, trays and temporary work zones. Supplied as one roll from manufacturer Thermo Scientific, Super Versi-Dry™ laboratory paper supports orderly, easy-to-clean workflows where splash control and bench covering matter. The polyethylene backing resists soak-through, while the cushioned absorbent face helps protect glassware and instruments in daily laboratory use.

Questions about Nalgene™ Super Versi-Dry™ Surface Protectors

What is this article?

Nalgene™ Super Versi-Dry™ Surface Protectors is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Thermo Scientific - Laboratory Plastics for laboratory use. It sits in Plastic bottles (narrow & wide mouth), inside Bottles & containers, in Labware.

A plastic bottle is polyethylene, polypropylene or a fluoropolymer, narrow-mouth for pouring or wide-mouth for powders. It is the choice when the bottle must not shatter, and it is the wrong choice for solvents that swell the plastic.

A laboratory bottle is a closed container with a stated volume and a neck that takes a cap, a stopper or a dispenser. Borosilicate glass is the choice when the liquid is a solvent, or when the bottle will be heated or autoclaved. Polyethylene and polypropylene are the choice when the bottle must not shatter, or when hydrofluoric acid would attack glass. A narrow mouth pours. A wide mouth is for powders and for reaching the bottom. Laboratory ware of this kind is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware. Traceable volume sits with the BIPM and NIST Physical Measurement.
