Each bottle offers a nominal capacity of 1000 ml (32 oz) with a wide mouth and 53 mm inner neck diameter, simplifying filling and recovery of liquids, solids and viscous samples. The round high-density polyethylene (HDPE) body measures 91 mm in diameter and 199 mm in height and is supplied with a matching natural translucent polypropylene screw closure (63 mm) without liner. Economy bottles from manufacturer Thermo Scientific are produced to ISO 13485:2016 quality requirements; bottles and closures meet USP Class VI expectations and the food-contact provisions of US 21 CFR 177.1520.
