Description

neochrom® Headspace Cap ND 20 colourless is a pre-assembled crimp closure with septum, fitted with pressure relief through a predetermined break point for controlled headspace work. The blue silicone/PTFE septum is 3,0 mm thick and is specified for easy needle penetration during sampling. Temperature resistance from −60 °C to 200 °C supports use in critical analytical applications where thermal cycling and reliable sealing are required. These ND 20 aluminium crimp caps suit standard headspace vials and form part of the neochrom® range from manufacturer neolab - Labor. The colourless shell gives a clear bench-side appearance while the PTFE-faced silicone laminate helps protect sample integrity under analysis conditions. Supplied in packs of 100 pieces, the closures are intended for gas-chromatography headspace workflows and related laboratory methods that demand consistent septum performance and defined overpressure behaviour. The combination of pressure-relief design, defined septum thickness and broad temperature window makes the cap a practical choice for routine and demanding volatile analyses.

Questions about neochrom® headspace cap ND 20 colourless, pressure relief, silicone blue/PTFE

What is this article?

neochrom® headspace cap ND 20 colourless, pressure relief, silicone blue/PTFE is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
