Description

neoChoice connector with male Luer-Lock cone and olive for tubing of 1,6–2,6 mm inner diameter is a hose-to-Luer adapter manufactured from natural-coloured polypropylene (PP). The slightly transparent fitting is autoclavable and features a constant inner diameter that supports uniform flow rates together with a secure, leak-tight seal. The olive is contoured within the sealing cone so that even firm tubing can be pushed on reliably; it expands the tubing up to 1,5 times its original inner diameter. Supplied in a bag of 10 pieces from manufacturer neolab - Labor, these connectors are intended for everyday laboratory fluid handling, media transfer and general tubing assemblies that require a male Luer-Lock interface. Polypropylene construction keeps the parts lightweight while providing suitable chemical resistance for many aqueous laboratory applications. Consistent geometry across the pack ensures repeatable performance when building or maintaining fluid paths in research, quality-control or teaching laboratories.

Questions about neoChoice connector, LL male, olive: for 1,6-2,6 mm, PP, 10 pcs./pack

What is this article?

neoChoice connector, LL male, olive: for 1,6-2,6 mm, PP, 10 pcs./pack is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
