Description

The neoLabLine neoBox 81 plus cryobox is designed for the safe storage and transport of valuable laboratory samples. Its fixed 9×9 grid provides space for 81 cryotubes with a diameter of up to 12,5 mm and a maximum height of 50 mm. External dimensions are 133×133×53 mm (length × width × height). A perforated insert plate is included and is placed into the base so that every sample position is clearly numbered and assigned, preventing mix-ups across all 81 locations. Lid and base are engineered with Position Lock construction so the lid always seats in a defined orientation. Manufactured from durable polypropylene by neolab - Labor, the neoBox 81 plus is temperature-resistant from −90 °C to +121 °C and is autoclavable for convenient sterilisation. This variant features a transparent base that supports easy visual inspection during routine cryogenic sample handling, freezer organisation, and secure transport of cryotubes in the laboratory.

This article is part of Cryo boxes, racks & freezer storage, in Cryogenics & cold storage.

Questions about neoLabLine neoBox 81 plus, Kryobox, 133x133x53 mm (L x B x H),Unterteil transpar

What is this article?

neoLabLine neoBox 81 plus, Kryobox, 133x133x53 mm (L x B x H),Unterteil transpar is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Cryo boxes, racks & freezer storage, inside Cryogenics & cold storage, in Lab consumables.

A cryo box or a freezer rack is how vials are found again at −80 °C or in the vapour phase of nitrogen. The grid, 9×9 or 10×10, has to match the vials. A cardboard box and a polycarbonate box differ in whether they survive liquid nitrogen. The map of the box is part of the sample.

Cold storage slows chemistry and keeps cells, proteins and nucleic acids from falling apart. A cryogenic vial is made to survive liquid-nitrogen temperatures and to be sealed against the liquid. A box and a rack are how those vials are found again. The article is not part of free standard delivery when it must stay cold: cold-chain goods are never included in that free delivery. Biosafety of the material inside is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic. Reference lines are held by ATCC.
