Novartos Uno is a V4A stainless-steel pharmaceutical powder sampler, 140 cm long, configured for 2-fold sampling with two chambers and supplied without inserts. It takes a double target-point sample from a predefined sampling zone in a single insertion: the collection chamber is fitted with two sample inserts (available as accessories) so two unit-dose samples can be obtained without repeated piercing of the bulk material, largely avoiding demixing. This design supports representative retain samples and aligns with FDA unit-dose sampling practice for small powder quantities. A laser-engraved depth scale shows immersion depth, the rounded tip protects container walls, and two additional handles aid safe insertion, locking and rotation. Precision-fit inserts prevent cross-mixing of material and allow simple dismantling for thorough cleaning; the groove-free, electropolished surface leaves no recesses where residues can collect. The Novartos Uno sampler from manufacturer Bürkle is intended primarily for pharmaceutical use but is equally suited to chemical, food and beverage, and biotechnology applications wherever free-flowing powders or granules must be sampled representatively.
