Owl™ P10DS Complete System for Vertical Dual Gel Electrophoresis with Caster is a dual-gel vertical electrophoresis apparatus that allows one gel or two gels to be loaded and run in the same device. The system accommodates gels of 20 cm width by 20 cm length and holds a buffer volume of 1250 ml, supporting large sample numbers that need extended separation distances and mobility-shift assays. Proven acrylic fabrication yields a durable chamber, while a central cooling core provides even cooling over the entire gel area for clear resolution; coolant can be circulated with an external circulating thermostat or cold tap water. A simple clamping mechanism eases insertion of glass cassettes and use of precast gels from most manufacturers. Operation follows six steps: attach cassettes, introduce agarose, insert the dedicated container, pour polyacrylamide, load samples and run the gel.
