Description
PTFE-insulated heating tape MIL-HT-PSG provides flexible, controlled heating for laboratory vessels, pipelines and process equipment. Measuring 8,0 m in length with a nominal power of 360 W at 230 V AC, the tape combines an internal metal protective braid with an external glass-silk braiding for splash-water protection. Its compact cross-section of 25 x 7 mm and a bending radius greater than 20 mm enable close contact around curved surfaces and containers. The maximum heating-conductor temperature reaches 260 °C, supporting a broad range of thermal applications in research and production. Ready-assembled with a 1,5 m connection lead without plug, the heating tape from manufacturer ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik arrives prepared for immediate installation. Special lengths and other heating powers can be supplied on request. With a net weight of 1,6 kg, this robust heating band is well suited to container heating, temperature maintenance and general laboratory heating duties where PTFE insulation and mechanical protection are essential.

Questions about PTFE insulated heating tape MIL-HT-PSG, 8,0 m, 360 W / 230 V
What is this article?
PTFE insulated heating tape MIL-HT-PSG, 8,0 m, 360 W / 230 V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOHEAT/SAF Wärmetechnik for laboratory use. It sits in Heating tapes, cables & plates, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A heating tape or cable wraps a tube, a valve or a vessel that has no mantle. Power per length and the maximum temperature are the specification. A tape overlapped on itself overheats. It needs a controller. Plugged straight in, it does not hold a set point.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
