Description

QuEChERS Clean-up Mix ROTI®XBond Diamino mix is a dispersive solid-phase extraction (dSPE) blend prepared for the clean-up step of QuEChERS methods according to EN 15662. Each unit contains 25 mg diamino (PSA) together with 150 mg MgSO4, providing primary secondary amine sorbent capacity plus drying salt for removal of residual water after extraction. The formulation is intended for modern food analytics and related multi-residue workflows where polar matrix co-extractives must be reduced before chromatography. Supplied as 100 pieces, the mix supports consistent aliquot clean-up across sample batches. Diamino (PSA) targets organic acids, sugars and other interfering components commonly encountered in produce extracts, while magnesium sulfate aids phase separation and moisture control. The product is part of the ROTI®XBond QuEChERS range from manufacturer Carl ROTH and aligns with EN 15662 clean-up practice. Net package weight is 0,257 kg. Typical laboratory use includes pesticide residue sample preparation, chromatography-oriented clean-up and other QuEChERS sequences that follow extraction with a dedicated diamino-based dSPE step.

Questions about QuEChERS Clean-up Mix, ROTI®XBond Diamino mix, EN 15662, 25 mg Diamino (PSA)

What is this article?

QuEChERS Clean-up Mix, ROTI®XBond Diamino mix, EN 15662, 25 mg Diamino (PSA) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in SPE cartridges & columns, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.

An SPE cartridge holds a bed of sorbent. Bed mass, sorbent chemistry and volume are the specification. A 100 mg C18 cartridge and a 1 g C18 cartridge take different sample loads and different elution volumes. The method names all three.

Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
