Description

Amber narrow-neck reagent bottle of soda-lime glass with standard ground joint NS 24/29 and matching glass stopper offers a nominal volume of 0,5 l and complies with USP and EP (3.2.1) requirements. External colour coating delivers reliable UV protection while the construction consists exclusively of glass components, ensuring broad chemical compatibility. The precision ground joint provides a tight closure suitable for demanding laboratory storage. A maximum usage temperature of +100 °C is recommended; thermal shock resistance is 30 K and the glass is classified as hydrolytic class 3. When using DURAN® glass stoppers with soda-lime bottles, temperature differences greater than 30 °C between bottle and stopper should be avoided to prevent sticking. This bottle is well suited for storage of light-sensitive reagents, pharmaceuticals and chemicals, transport and shipping of light-sensitive samples, storage of air-sensitive reagents and chemicals, and keeping of hygroscopic liquids, granules and powders. The durable laboratory bottle from manufacturer Duran/DWK Life Sciences is supplied as a single piece ready for immediate use in research, quality control or pharmaceutical environments.
