Description

Rotilabo® fork clamps for ground joint, size 29/32, are laboratory joint clips intended to lock standard ground-glass connections securely during assembly, heating and transfer operations. Fabricated from nickel-chromium steel and equipped with a set screw, the clamp delivers a stable mechanical grip on matching conical joints so multi-neck flasks, condensers and intermediate adapters stay correctly seated. The fork profile enables rapid fitting and release, while the set screw fine-tunes clamping force for the joint pair in service. Part of the Rotilabo® labware line from manufacturer ROTH SELECTION, these clamps support routine organic synthesis, reflux and distillation trains as well as general glassware setups that use the 29/32 joint standard. Supplied as one piece per unit with a net weight of 0,045 kg, they are easy to inventory and keep at the bench. Ideal for research, teaching and preparative laboratories that depend on reliable retention of ground-joint glassware in the 29/32 size range.

This article is part of Lids & seals, in Stoppers, caps & closures.

Questions about Rotilabo®-fork clamps for ground joint, 29/32, nickelchrom.steel, with set screw

What is this article?

Rotilabo®-fork clamps for ground joint, 29/32, nickelchrom.steel, with set screw is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in Lids & seals, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

Lids and seals are the covers of dishes, jars and tanks: a snap lid, a sealing film, a gasket. The seal is doing the work. A lid that only rests on the rim does not contain a volatile liquid.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
