The unit features a brilliant TFT colour graphic display, integrated vacuum controller, cooling-water monitoring and automatic control of vacuum and cooling-water volume. Optimised glass guides exploit the 1500 cm² condenser surface efficiently within a compact footprint. Its 4-litre universal safety heating bath spans room temperature to 180 °C, provides automatic boiling-point detection and includes a solvent library of 40 pre-stored, expandable entries. A motorised lift with safety-stop automatically lifts the evaporating flask from the bath during power failure; dry-run protection, adjustable safety temperature circuits, end-position detection and a user lock enhance operational safety. Soft start, interval right-left rotation, timer functions and programming of up to ten individual procedures simplify daily workflows. USB and RS-232 interfaces enable remote control with labworldsoft software and firmware updates. The package includes vacuum tubing, water-hose connections and the IKA Vacstar digital vacuum pump, regulated directly by the drive unit via the supplied data cable.
