Description
SteriPlast® sample scoop is a sterile disposable sampling scoop made from high-quality white polystyrene (PS) with a nominal volume of 1000 ml (1 l). Measuring 332 mm in length, it is developed for sensitive sampling of powders, granules and pastes and can be used with a wide range of materials. Production, assembly and individual packaging take place under ISO Class 7 cleanroom conditions, followed by gamma irradiation sterilisation to fulfil high cleanliness standards. An ergonomic design and a slightly rising front edge support comfortable handling and allow the scoop to be set down easily without sample loss. The single-use format means no cleaning or re-sterilisation is required, which saves time and resources and raises efficiency in laboratories and production areas. Omitting reprocessing also reduces personnel exposure to potentially hazardous substances and removes handling of sharp or soiled multi-use tools. Individual packaging keeps every scoop sterile and contamination-free until the moment of use, while single use excludes cross-contamination between different samples or products. After one use the scoop is discarded, helping maintain process integrity. From manufacturer Bürkle, this sterile cleanroom scoop is especially suited to pharmaceutical, food-technology, biotechnology and other scientific laboratories where contamination control, cleanliness and precision are critical for quality control, research and production. Pack size is 10 pieces.

Questions about Sampling scoop SteriPlast, PS, sterile, 1000 ml
What is this article?
Sampling scoop SteriPlast, PS, sterile, 1000 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bürkle for laboratory use. It sits in Spatulas & spoons, inside Tools & accessories, in Labware.
A spatula or spoon transfers a powder without pouring the whole bottle. The blade width and the material, steel or plastic or nickel, decide whether the tool contaminates the sample it touches.
The small tools of the bench are what the hand actually holds: a spatula for a powder, forceps for an object that must stay clean, a brush for a narrow neck, a desiccator when a dried sample must not take up water again. None of these reads a measurement. They keep the measurement possible. The apparatus around them is listed under ISO laboratory apparatus.
